I was planning to dine in for sometime looking at the ratings, but I ended up placing a takeout order through Uber. I am glad I didn't dine in. The disaster ended with 35$. I orderd Kadai Panner and some naans. I have never tasted any curry as bad as this one. I think, the tomato puree from grocery store with a hint of spice probably tastes better than this. Its a bowl full of oil and some chili powder with some cubes of paneer!! That's what it is. Nothing more. Disgusting. A total waste of money.

Absolutely enjoyed my meal so much that I had to send a review. For context I am only in Ann Arbor for the night, and this restaurant popped up when I asked Chatgpt for halal places to get biryani. I ordered via Uber eats to my hotel and must say it was DELICIOUS! I was raised in a Hyderabadi family in the west, and I know what good biryani tastes like! And this was absolutely delicious. I got medium spice and it was perfect no kick that stays long after you eat. Amazing. 1000/10. I got their veg samosa too. I am currently living in the UK and never tasted anything as amazing as this place over there. Fully recommend! Thank you guys, I'll rest well after this lovely dinner.

Service was good and attentive. Malai Kofta was okay, maybe we should've ordered it as medium spicy for more flavor. Samosas were not freshly fried. Rice was a bit overcooked and crispy. Plates were not the most clean. Stuffed potato dish was yummy!

Deliciously flavored - good portions - good service in a nice setting in downtown Ann Arbor. I ordered low spice but found it to be so spicy I couldn’t eat it all. My friend felt mine at low spice was as spicy as hers at medium. They were delicious dishes but be aware if you are sensitive to heat levels.

I’ve dined in before and the meal was decent but recently ordered take out for one of their “tandoori specials” - for the price of $28.99 I was shocked when I received the very light bag. Inherently, I inspected the bag to see if everything was there and it seemed I was only missing the naan. The manager was very helpful and ran a fresh piece out to my car, but I was still dubious by the looks of the portion and weight of the bag. When I got home, my suspicions were unfortunately proved true, and for the whopping price of nearly $30, I got 4 small pieces of potato curry, maybe 1 chicken breast worth of tandoori chicken, 3 measly pieces of paneer, a small cup of rice, and a singular piece of naan. Also, I didn’t realize upon first inspection (my fault, I guess?) but they also forgot the mint chutney 🙄 what is tandoor without mint chutney!! At this rate I’m so frustrated I don’t even want to eat this food. Considering the regular half chicken tandoori is $18.99, I expected at least a half chicken’s worth. The manager did mention this was a new dish (not sure if that’s just excuse for naan mistake) but in general I was really disappointed. Don’t think I will be back.
